Hey guys, just got my first..lets say real car. Bought this 1986 VL Turbo off my uncle about 3 months ago and now that my Green P's coming up, im going to start building it up. Heres what i have to start it off, getting it towed to my house on the 5th of March nad it starts from there.
Now that intercooler isn't connected the headgasket is blown, and we took off the turbo (because im on my P's, will be reattached in the future) which means we are getting a new exhaust system, number plate will be changed when i throw on some rego on it in 3 weeks already got the plates on my van will just transfer them.
Basically I want to build this car upto be in showrooms, not interested in power, alsong as it can go up a hill on 20"s im fine.
Firstly, I would like your oppinon guys on which rims would best suite this car, the car will be resprayed after most of the interior and exterior is complete, I had my eyes on the HSV GTS rims but they cost abit too much for me, any thoughts?

if you want this to be in shows and your worried about the cost of hsv wheels i think your in the wrong game mate. but good luck with the car and try to get some better pics up.
yer i 2nd that man..... showroom spec will cost u alot more then you might think man.... r u going to respray it or change colour all together?? i like this colour it looks good... dfinitly put up some more pics of full car and interior mate....
yea no worries boys, will post some more pics on saturday when i get it towed. erm its not the fact its the most expensive its just because im sure bythe time this car is really fir for a showroom im nearly certain ill dent the rims on a gutter or something seeing im so used to driving a van so im looking for something abit cheaper for the moment.

Haha im sorta over purple, plus this shade is way too dark the other VL next to mine is my uncles, he's a holden freak haha got a nice A9X in the garage n another vl used 2 be featured in a magazine back when i was like 8 years old haha DGENRL

yea its going to go two-tone, by the way i bought the VL like this, i havnt done anything to it yet. fixing it up will be getting into gear in about 2-3 weeks.
Here this for fail guys, my uncle owns a towtruck right, i was supposed to get my VL towed to my house today seeing i move all the cars out of the driveway. yesterday he ran out of f/ing rego, need to wait another week. Gott love it when family "do" favours for you for free.

now to make things worse we were going to just throw it on a trailer, then it started shting down rain.
