been watching this site for a while but never joined up as i got rid of my first VL two years ago.. thats where i got my passion from them.. the day dad picked me up from school in my first car.. a VL berlina 86' model. she was lowered sound system and rims all i did was get a reasonable UNIQUE green paint job it was love then i sold her.. stupid mistake.. now im older and wiser and a first year aumotive technician apprentice!! YAAYYY for trade prices and working for holdens cheaper parts wooo and now about the car.. Make / Model: Holden VL calais (year unsure will confirm ASAP) Colour: dark blue over silver Bodykit: standard calais Engine Type: RB30E Engine Mods: standard exhaust, pod filter, ecu chip Power: too little to worth mentioning Exhaust: maybe 2.5' highflow? Gearbox: standard Manual Diff: open wheeler Brakes: stock Calais. disks all round Suspension: stock Wheels/Tyres: unsure of size and name :S Interior: blue calais trim and seats Stereo: pioneer speakers in dash and sub and amp in the boot Other Mods: none really so the future mods list is pretty big and i have no budget on this car and i dont care how long it takes to build or how much it costs or what other people think its my car Future mods.. Colour: respray in the dark blue over silver.. for now Bodykit: standard. i wnat that clean street sleeper look Engine Type: wanting to build up a RB26/30 twin turbo motor if im gonna do it im gonna do it my way Engine Mods: gonna go the whole nine yards with this one Power: enough to make a nine second streeter :P Exhaust: maybe 3" straight through? yet to be decided Gearbox: unsure of style.. defs manual though Diff: thinking a 4.11 ratio with locker or spool Brakes: maybe just the VT brake upgrade but witht he amount of power ill be pushing through its gonna need something big hehe Suspension: thinking Kmac coilovers for the front unsure what to do with the rears Wheels/Tyres: undecided Interior: standard calais blue trim.. need retriming though Stereo: undecided so that is my plans and this is MY project car ideas and opinions are more then welcome to be voiced though nad any help and suggestions will be muchly appreciated http://s1200.photobucket.com/albums/...urrent=024.jpg (http://s1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb326/Krazykarl91/?action=view¤t=024.jpg) ill upload more pictures in the next day or two she is a mess but im in love haha Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Good stuff mate! Welcome to the club, they're addictiive thats for sure. Sounds like you got big plans which i guess we've all had, but i hope you stick to it because it worth it in the end! Be sure to check out the technical section because there is a write-up on just about every part of these cars and plenty of inspiration.
