helping a mate buy a car and have personally had a look at it and checked the basics it all seems good, however we would still like a second oppinion from a proffessional with the right tools. looking for some very simple stuff to be done eg comp test, test spark, test battery etc, could be a quick $100 for anyone that is in the wanaroo area. will happily bring it in to someones shop if there is someone on here that is willing to help out. i am an RAC member but they want quite alot of $ and can only fit us in at a really **** time.

There are a few businesses around Perth that do auto inspections. Give them a call and see if they fit the bill for what you are looking for; http://www.autospections.com.au/index.html http://www.aacvehicleinspectionsperth.spruz.com/ http://www.truelocal.com.au/business...ons/rockingham (http://www.truelocal.com.au/business/aaa-all-area-autospections/rockingham) http://www.actionautocare.com.au/inspection.aspx

How expensive are those RAC inspections now? I got one a couple of years back and it was over a $100 but well worth it, they give you an inspection report that is several pages long, detailing everything. Well worth the extra coin to know the car is worth your coin and time...

Yeah it's only going to be 160 on this occasion however they can only get us in at a **** time in a place too far away. I have a booking with rac but will cancel if another option turns out better.
