Hi All, Having problems with a precision response class d 1500w rms amp. Am not getting any sound from the subs whatsoever (have checked resistance of subs and was around 3.7ohms so don't think subs are gone). The power light is on the amp and no fuses are blown. I am definitely getting a signal from the headunit and also checked the output terminals from the amp and there is definitely some form of output. I measured the voltage drop between + and - and it was only around .2V or thereabouts which doesn't seem right although it wasn't far off what my 4 channel amp was putting out to the speakers (but not very switched on with car audio so wouldn't have a clue). I haven't measured amperage yet but that will be next on my list although I have no idea what it should read lol so it probably won't help me all that much. Anybody got any ideas? Is there anything else that I need to check?

Maybe check you setup in the head unit. See if the rca output is turned on or something like that. The Alpine has a similar feature where you can turn on or turn off the RCA signal. In the setup on the my alpine deck was a amp on & amp off mode.

Not sure how old, was in the car when I bought it so don't actually know if it was ever going. There are no burning smells or anything like that though. I have had a look through the H/U settings but the "subwoofer out" is already on.
