Hi, after fitting my Gkteck cooler kit i've run into some problems... now of course there's always going to be the AFM is dead solution, but just wondering what other possibilities it might be... Now what it's doing is in gear it wont go basically, will only hit a maximum of 30km/h and wont rev any further, i can hear the turbo spooling faster and faster if i accelerate harder, but just no power and still stuck at 30km/h? Now in neutral/park it will rev as hard as i want it to, although a slight spluttering problem down low as i didnt have time to fiddle with idle setup/timing to alter this. I have been over the cooler piping to check for any leaks and what not and the only one i can find is a slight whistle from the bypass pipe, (the idle air pipe). However i dont think this would greatly affect the problem im having? (this will be the first thing ill fix) Before the Gktech kit went on the car was pretty much stock turbo setup besides the aftermarket super ebay spec turbo. The car ran extremely well without the cooler on, went very hard and was impressed by the power it was making but really wanted to get a cooler in there to prolong the life of the engine. Any suggestions/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Myles Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

where is your afm located? sounds like there is a leak somewhere in the piping or near the turbo? Have you tried resetting the ecu??

AFM is in factory position directly after the airbox or where ur pod would be. forgive my noobness, but how do you reset the ECU? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

dont touch the ecu. sounds to me like similar problems that a gap or hole in the cooler piping somwhere would cause, go over and double check every pipe and every join. maybe even try putting the afm in the piping

I know with the kit I installed for a mate ages ago you had to be careful how tight you did the clamps up as some of the piping was like tin foil and squashed pretty easy. Definately a leak somewhere in your pipework though
