Hey guys,
Was looking for a short shifter and was told anything from an SR20/R31/32/S13/S14 Gearbox will fit, does anyone know if this will work?

I know a guy who has an S13 short shifter in his n/a, says it's brilliant.
Don't know how much trouble it was to install but he seems happy with it.
Edit: Pretty sure the one he bought was off ebay too!

That's what I'm thinking, I'm fine with installing it but whether or not it makes the gearbox notchy or not, and whether or not it fits is my only concern.

Pretty easy to put in, makes a HUGE difference in the feel of the car, with the MF5 before I was able to crunch second if I took it too 5k rpm but now with the shorts being so quick I also crunch 3rd as the rev's are still very high by the time the clutch is left out, thats without rev matching or anything, would recommend though - other than the problem that it likes to pop out of reverse, it changes the whole feel of the car for the better.

Oh it worried me as well, if you thrash the car the gearbox starts to get tight and harder to get into gear but it did that before the short shifter and my gearbox is on its way out so I'd imagine on a normal healthy gearbox it wouldnt have a single problem. Will definitely do, I've locktighted all the bolts so hopefully it should stay the same! Haha cheers dude appreciate it, I've been watching yours as well, a lot more effort has gone into it than mine
