what are these wires

hey guys got two pics to show . first one is the purple wire the starter solinoid and not sure at all what the second is, any help please Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

alan, second pic looks like an aftermarket relay holder thats just been wired in

Second pic could be reverse polarity relay judging by the wire colours.

thanks for the info guys and does anyone know if the brown wire on the gauge cluster is the dash light ???

The brown wire from the alternator goes to the battery light in the dash
