Hey Guys Anyone know about this work shop or had any experiance. Im looking into them for a customer of mine for a 2010 VE SV6 tune. I would prefer to use Eastern as i normally do. But they currently can't do the SIDI 2010. Apparently these guys can. Experiances or alternatives would be appreciated. Im currently putting the car back together and have a couple of weeks before delivery. Cheers

I've never used them personally but I've only heard good things too, I remember they've been mentioned quite a few times in Performance Car Mag, maybe others too like NZV8? that may not say a lot but i'm sure the mags wouldnt rave on about them if they were no good. Or you could try ProTune in Manukau, apparently they're quite good, Holden specialists.

im not hugely concerned on cost, just need someone that can do the job. I have clients wanting a specific job and it appears that the 2009 onward SIDI is a bit of a challenge due to the Bosch computer. The VZ series PC was used in the earlier VE's and didnt present a problem. First time ive ever heard of something like this. Will give pro tune a call. Cheers for the heads up. Appreciate the feedback gents!

there awesome after the trouble i had with getting the ecu installed and the place not knowing what they were doing with setting it up and tuneing it. i took it to c&m performance and they worked there magic on it ill be taking it back there shortly to get the tune finished off. there big on v8s i dont think they were too keen on my car after a few smart arse comments sort of felt like they were putting it down but anyways they got it sorted and in my opinion there the best in nz

Just an idea - If its a Bosch computer what about trying a place that specialises in BMW's?

its not just the Bosch platform. Its alot to do with maintaining the fuel back off when the "SIDI" kicks in. The Bosch platform makes it harder to achieve the correct spark timing. Maintaining the fuel trim is the hard part. Wide Open Throttle tune is easy enough to do.
