Hi guys, have pulled the v6 out of my vn wagon for work, and spent the weekend dropping in a vn 304. It all went together pretty well and am at the point of wiring it up. I have hit the wall as there are two wiring plugs that don't match up, so I need some help. The donor car was a vn 304 auto BT1 series 2. it went into my work car which is a vn wagon v6 series 1 T5 manual. I bolted on a flywheel fitted a spigot bearing new clutch etc and bolted a T5 out of a ss to the motor. I know the motor runs because it was going fine in the BT1. The problem is there are two plugs that can't click together as they are different, one is under the bonnet between the fusebox and the radiator recovery bottle, and the other plug is behind the glovebox, the two plugs that go to the computer are fine. If I can work out where these wires go she will really fly! If someone has done this conversion before I would be rapt if you spoke to me cos I really want to get it finished, or if someone has the wiring diagrams for the vn v6 and v8 in series 1 and series 2 if you could email them to me that would be cool. I hope I can work it out, cos I like doing stuff myself, also someone told me that I have to change the speedo binnacle as well or it will blow up! is this true? Will really appreciate your help, DCPTVE.
