Hey all. Have come across a guy in financial strife that urgently needs to sell a vk Brock director. I believe it is original condition, body and paint need a bit of work. Silver in colour and apparently all tags and engine match. Will have a look tonight but just after a rough price it might be worth, and also what I need to check to ensure it's genuine - or. Vin, engine, etc. Cheers. Tim

Price can vary alot depending on what the director was optioned with from new, maybe 12-15K for a poverty spec director and upto 30K for one that is fully loaded in great condition. Some people are asking crazy dollars (30K+), don't be fooled into thinking your sitting on a gold mine, as its only worth what someone is willing to pay for at the end of the day.

For 5k just make sure you check on matching tags as he says etc.. If it sounds to good to be true it usually is. Get it checked with vicroads etc to make sure tags etc match and if so go for it mate. If it's in ok nick you could even do it up and it be worth upward of 20k I suggest going onto the street commodores forum and speaking to a bloke named "commodorenut" He will be able to help you with any questions you have to make sure the car is legit.

as REALIST says, these cars vary greatly in respect of their options. If it's genuine, $5g's is a steal, but you will need to verify engine and chassis numbers with HDT. All Brock's got the Momo steering wheel, referred to as the "Flyer" in VK's (except Group A's) adn they will also have either Momo or Aero wheels, Aero's are either 15's or 16's. It may still have the original suspension which in VK;s considted of purple springs and sway bars. Any body kit parts will have HDT embossed into them somewhere.
