What is the difference between a S1 and S2 alternator? Is there any difference between an N/A (RB30) and Turbo (RB30ET) alternator?

obseshn is pretty much spot on. the bosch ones can't be rebuilt as they are hard/expensive to get parts for according to an auto electrician i took one to.
