I have done alot of research on installing a rb20det in to a vl. I know you have to use vl mounts, ac pump, alternator, and water, oil sensors but I am still confussed about ecu, and wiring loom. Does the std rb20det ecu fit in to a vl?? and what modifacations are needed to the loom to fit the rb20?? cheers

Computer will go in ok but you will need obviously the rb20 loom, you will also need to put in your temp gauge sender from rb30 (straight in fit) as the guage will read backwards, most things will surprisingly hook up, I had an auto sprky finish mine off, cost me $100 and took him about an hour

He just had to hook it up to the ignition for me, get it all to turn on & off via the key, starter etc was pretty much the same
