hey guys,,
so theres this Stock NA VL Calais, has all the bits and pieces except 1 pop up on the drivers side and the mount brackets that hold it are broken, interior is pretty shabby, has rust under the windshield witch from what i hear is pretty commen, im going to have a better look today,
the thing that puts me off is the body number on the strut tower now reads XXXXXXXXXXX and on the oppisite side there is a new number that is like V(then some numbers)P eg, V345924P, ive been told that is because it was stolen and recovered, but i just wanted to make sure that it wont hinder my chance to register it,
also i was just wondering what else i should look at like if there is a Standard "U SHOULD CHECK THIS" Guide,, also what kinda money do u think i would be paying for what i have discribed?

is it white?? with a gray interior on polished calais rims

yes white its in a perticular wreckers in vic, tho i think it has a blue maybe interior

it's a Victorian police number which means it has prob been stolen and recovered prev and the number has been allocated to replace the orig chassis #
you should be paying less for one with police numbers

I'm guessing you're talking about the white Calais out the front of Imlachs?
If it is that one, the interior absolutely stinks. Was enough to make me sick.
But anyway, did you end up buying it?
