Manual is fun but i think that auto is underrated, u can spend abit of money on a auto and make it bullet proof, shift quicker, ect, im after a manual at the moment but ill by no means be upset if i end up eith an auto,, just my 2c

ive got an auto vl and i drive it like a manual (shift it myself) and im pretty happy with it if ur jsut a p plater then a manual is probly better coz its more fun to drive but if its for a high powered vl turbo then auto is the way to go with a hi stall and shift kit, an auto can make a big difference to the way the car drives compared to a manual its just a matter of personal choice really

U should just wait for the right one It took me 1 year to find my vlc got it for under 5 with 12 months rego I wouldn't worry to much about transmission U could find a cheap conversion if your that worried

I know the feeling mate. I wanted a vl for my first car and it had to be manual. i looked at 6 or 7 cars, all either flogged and rusted out, or in top condition asking 5 or 6 grand.. too much for a 16 year old. Then i found my factory manual SL, bit of rust.. good kmls, interior clean as, good paint, lowered on king springs... 2 months rego, picked it up for $2200. DONT GIVE UP, i almost did.
