Hey all,
I'm looking at buying an ADM Nissan S15.
I CBF'ed with a JDM as they have no history and most of them have woun back speedos.
I'm hoping to hear from people that have owned an S15 and know what it really takes to make them a relative quick car?
I'm also tossing up with a;
2003+ Subaru STi
2003+ Mitsubishi EVO
Advise please people.
Cheers,
Trent.

good thread im also interested in buying one in the near future, yep you're spot on man dont go with the jdm ones. only difference with the JDM and ADM are that
1. JDM have back window wiper
2. JDM have sunroof and
3. JDM have a window in the sun blocker.
the first two are preety good additions but i rather take gaurenteed genuine km over taking the risk of them bieng wind back any day.

Spec S

Released in 2000, the ADM came in Spec S and Spec R trims however there is no mechanical difference with the exception of LSD - manual has helicial, auto has viscous (both 147kw,265nm ) the difference is in the accessories.

The Spec S usually came with no bodykit, no sunroof and a basic headunit. The Spec R came with bodykit, sunroof and a 6 stack headunit.
A GT varient of both the Spec S and Spec R was released in 2002 to use up the remaining shells as it was no longer in production. The GT editions had the same options as the normal Spec S and Spec R with the addition of leather seats, chrome door handles, chrome boot surround, GT badges (from the R33) aero wing, chrome wheels, alloy pedals and an upgraded sound system.

Thanks for that ^ very helpfull. Haha the gt uses gt badges from the r33 that's funny tightasses don't design new ones.
I'm hoping to get a spec s, removing all badges and rebadge as autech. Hopefully that would fool the cops, (I'll still be on my ps)

Nistune chipped ecu, z32 afm, exhaust, intercooler and raise the boost to 15-16psi should see you push 200rwkw..

The EVO will be the fastest/best handling car out of those 3, but the S15s are a great looking car and are alot of fun from what i've been told.
