Hey all ive been told that to remove the sump on a vz v6 that the gear box has to come out as well? Ive had a look at it and i dont think that it needs to? Looks like it joins to the gear box with four bolts and removing them and the others that hold it up it should come out easily? Any help would be great? Cheers

you dont have to remove the gearbox but you have to remove the bolts going through the gearbox to the sump and then lower the sub frame a touch and you can wiggle it out
