Anyone played with or have this particular unit MVH-P8200BT ? I am looking to replace the stock head unit in the D-Max with something that has Ipod capability and bluetooth for my phone.

Looks pretty good. I'm in the market for a decent head unit for the Rex, must have USB & Aux In on the front, flip down as I hate headunits where you can see the disc loader and want it to have bluetooth.. With the Aus dollar being so good id buy from US eBay.. I brought a Kenwood, top of the range full colour screen headunit from the US about 5 years ago for around $300 when you could only get the base model in Australia for $600. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pione...fAudioQ5fVideo (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pioneer-MVH-P8200BT-iPod-MP3-SD-Player-W-Bluetooth-NEW-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2a0d27fadfQQitemZ180609350367QQptZCarQ5fAudioQ5fVideo) Other one I've been looking at is the Sony with the same features... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pione...fAudioQ5fVideo (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pioneer-MVH-P8200BT-iPod-MP3-SD-Player-W-Bluetooth-NEW-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2a0d27fadfQQitemZ180609350367QQptZCarQ5fAudioQ5fVideo)

Hopefully I'll have an answer over the weekend as mine has turned up and I should be able to put it in.

It turns out that the face plate is really more like a din and a 1/4. The rear of it fits in as per din size but the face plate is to large to be mounted flush.. which is aids because I can't make it work in the Isuzu. I cut off the tabs on the outside of the faceplate and it will fit perfectly width wise now, but with the UHF it won't fit height wise while fitting it flush to the dash... Its time for a professional to get involved. I know how they love taking over butchered jobs like mine. I am sure I will pay for it though.

Great headunit. I got one in my car and they work awesome. Love how the face is only a 1/4 of the lenght so can easily fit any where in the car with out much trouble if trying to store it.
