I cleaned my rocker cover and was wondering what sort of epoxy glue joins the rocker cover to the baffle?? Is this glue needed or could i get away with using some locktight on the screws without glue? Also where can you get those brass fittings that screw straight into the cover the square shape one that goes on a 90 angle?? Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Wow that's having ago clean ! What you need to do is take your rocker cover down to your hose shop if you have a pirteck handy that will be perfect. Get them to drill out the existing thread and tap some new thread to suit the 90 deg brass fittings. You can't buy any sort of standard fittings to go straight in they have some gay thread in them. See my pic attached. I have 3/4 fittings. I think it cost me about 30 or 40 to get the drilling and tapping done well worth it. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

When I had my rocker cover chromed they clean the hole thing including the splash plate which they had removed. When I installed the splash plate I used the same type of screws with a blob of high temperature epoxy resin over/on top of the screws.
