hey everyone this is my 86 white vl executive. it started out as a factory N/A auto but now has a genuine RB30ET with a 5 speed. Apart from that its pretty stock, except for a boost gauge and momo steering wheel. Plans for the future is to turn up the boost and lower it a bit more. Aiming for 250kw at the wheels by the time im off my P's. i got bit bored today and cut springs just hope they dnt fall out over a bump in the road, also gonna get my reverse lights workin as i never did when i put the 5 speed in and might give the ol vl a descent clean. im also looking into a new fuel system and computer to put a bit more boost into the stock a8

why did you cut the springs. it gives you is **** ride qaulity, i am all for low cars,i never leave them std height, but springs are not dear to buy.

i no they are cheap but hav never done it and had to do it once until i get around to putting new springs in.

installed bonnet gas struts today quite an easy job took like 5 minutes, will post pics soon

i chopd mine with no problems.. yeah its a lil bouncy but who gives a **** its not a Mercedes.. its a VL rides looking gud man!

installed a boost controller today and set it on 10 psi big difference and am very happy in how it goes Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

ur cars coming 2gether nicely man.. i use 2 see this every day. has no idea it was boosted lol and what do u mean by Boot interior? if u mean boot carpet i got got one.. take it for free

ok got some more crappy quality photos for you all ok so this is all the carpet stuff i had lying around so did over the lights just wrapped the tyre up and did the opposite side and this my brake upgrade only bad thing bout it is surface rust from sittin but no biggy at all. can definately notice better brakes even though i dnt have he bigger booster yet so im happy. and thats all ive done next is gonna be vs booster with vt m/c ---------- Post added 24-04-11 at 21:38 ---------- Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

cheers your looked very nice as well and update dad completely ***3d my centre console he did something and snapped it completely in half so gonna get a new one in any colour and respray it as cerulean blue parts are becoming hard to find, and officially banning him from entering the vl. and some badges for the boot and above the radio, thought id get them but gonna wait till that joyful day wen im off my p's

ok because im a douche i put the vs booster and vt master cylinder on sunday and missed cruise 4 kids not happy, i just reflaired the brake lines and made up a nice shiny bracket for the front of the master cylinder. all thats left is to bleed the brakes but been to lazy due to all this rain, will post pics soon

ok brakes bled and car stops amazingly never though a vl could stop so good.
