Hi guys, After blowing my 2nd jatco, I've decided to convert to trimatic. Looking at these bell housings from torque power in geelong, has anyone used them before? or what have people used? Also what do people use for the crossmember? I've been told vk? Basically I'm just looking for someone who has done this conversion to point me in the right direction of what I need to complete this. I've done a search and couldn't find what I'm looking for. Thanks guys Rob Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Dude get the bell housing from the people that do ya converter that way its all matched, the bell housing is around the 400 mark, use a vk cross member and vl v8 speedo cable, also use vk 6cyl tail shaft, vk t-bar.... Just make sure u get a trimatic from a commodore and not hq or the likes as the shifter is on the oposite side and ull have to use an after market shifter like b&m

I spoke to dominator yesterday and got quoted 450 on the bell housing. Also spoke to torque power in geelong and got quoted 675. Don't know why there's such a price difference. What bell housing did you use? Thanks

the new torque power bellhousings are a far better bellhousing, its completely cast up, no welding pump to bellhousing any more and then cnc machined perfect. thats why you pay more.

Sorry no convertor, it was striped and inspected and found to be shagged. TCE can make you one to suit. please dont use a dominator I have heard to many horror stories with them.
