Hey guys and girls Thanks for your interest in the event. I would very much love to run the event again this year. However i have a few hurdles that have to be over come for it to happen. Dont think that its fallen on deaf ears and it was a one off event. At this point in my life and with my own business it's just not on my highest priority list at the moment. It took a lot of time and business neglect to make it happen last time. If we run it this year it definitely wont be till late in the year. With that I need to research a date and venue. NOT TO MENTION I NEED A LOT MORE BACKING to get it off the ground. HOW YOU CAN HELP! If you have a business that would be interested in supporting an even that supports your needs, please drop me a pm. Im all ears for what you can offer the event. The more interest i get the more i can accumulate for prizes and cash to cover the huge overheads. I will also need more support from you the customer. More entry's and more spectators to make it fee-sable. If we can double the first ever's event then Bring on VL TURBO NATIONALS 2011. So until Ive done some more research hold on to your hats. You heard it here first. Steve VL TURBO NATIONALS Event Organiser.

U guys did an awsome job last year. I really hope it goes ahead this year but not if u guys are going to be out of pocket. Just one question. Why don't u make it a prepaid event? Get everyone to pay for their entry well before the event and scrap the prize money/prizes. If u don't get enough enterance cancel the event and return everyones money. I think most enterance would b happy with haveing the bragging rights for 2011

Thanks for the kind words. We tried very hard to succeed and with the weather not on our side we did alright. You have some very good points. Problem we found last year was pre-paid entry was its was slow to receive interest until we announced the cut off time. So it may just be flat until the end by that time we have no entry's and don't know how many talkers will actually arrive on the day. As for prizes i think we should be right again this year as 90% said they would come back on board if we were to run it again. To me this is an incentive to the customer the racer. But cash is what's really needed so we aren't out of pocket. This is what we didn't have to much of last year. Just tonight i have recieved a PM offering some trophies or the like. This is fantastic and i'll start jotting this stuff down. So maybe spread the word, With your help i'd be keen to do it again. Sooner than later. Cheers Steve

I think last years event was great towed 18hrs straighty there raced had more fun then I have in long time and 18hrs straight home after racing could not ask for better weekend with the mates. If it goes ahead this year I will attend in some shape and form, also I will sponsor throphies that way you have something to sit on the bar and brag about for the next year....... Heathcote would be a good track to run at again even tho traction was not great for me but it allows cars and drivers not down with ANDRA rules to still have fun...

Fcukin better be on, my goal this year was to have my car ready specifically for this event. I wouldnt worry about the prizes either unless its all sponsors are willing to donate. Although it might sound kind of rude you should say cash is preferred if businesses are willing to sponsor, just to cover overheads like you said.

Cheers Sherif and Forza for the PM's. Wait and see what happens over the next couple of months. If anyone hears or knows of workshops that wants to help sponsor the event let me know. Exposure last year was huge. No reason it cant be bigger this time.
