Hey All, Since the sale of my last VLCT about 5 years ago, it was always a dream of mine to build up a tuff street commodore. After owning three VL Calais in the past, i knew that a clean, genuine unmolestered car would be hard to come accross. Finally after searching for 12-18 months i found a Genuine Calais Turbo that i knew was the exact car i had been looking for. The owner of the vehicle was a middle aged Commodore enthusiast and was confident that i wasnt going to find another VL like it. The vehicle was purchased as a stocker with only the usual suspects; a K&N Panel Filter, Front Mount Intercooler and an aftermarket exhaust. Two months after picking up the car i was bored with the power and was advised to speak with Anthony Rodriguez at Maztech of Melbourne. Current Specs as Followed; 1988 VL Calais Turbo. Well done Trent; two stunning cars you've built. All I'd change is the interior to a mint original s2 interior but each to their own. I was wondering who owned this when I saw it on Mike's site. Did you buy Matt's car? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Nice ...that should be an easy 11sec pass

Thanks Mike, pretty happy with the result. Ant reckons it might even be good enough for a 10sec pass with a set of slicks and a good transbrake launch.
