Going overseas soon for an extended holiday, i might have to get rid of the calais as i don't really want to put it in storage. What sort of price should i be asking (there doesn't seem to be too many for sale):
50 CAL for anyone that's seen it
87 Calais 5.0
148,000 km
Kimberly Bronze
Internationals, mint cond.
Engine and Trans dead stock
KAAZ LSD 3.73
Pacemakers, D&T stainless 3 inch
Pedders suspension (comfort gas shocks?was done before i got it)/panhard/new nolathane bushes kit
mint condition original tan leather interior, all the interior is pretty much as good as it gets for a 23 yr old car
good sound system, kicker subs, large kicker amp, alpine R's, soundstreams, pioneer deck
Everything except the suspension was done in the last 9 months since i got the car
Doesn't appear to be many original stock calais 5.0's for sale so i have nfi on price, on carsales it's just pages of turbo turbo turbo stinker turbo turbo
Just looking for a general ballpark, especially from anyone that may have sold theirs in the last year or so
couple pics from last year

This was on car sales for nearly 12 months.
Original owner started at 12k then gradually dropped.
6.5 - 7k it should sell. If your chasing more than that be patient as the right buyer will come along.

not many V8 VL's now because they weren't popular at the time when new
the 6 cyl and turbo 6 were much better engines so sold in higher numbers
that doesn't make a V8 VL rare though

For that i might as well take the KAAZ with 3.73's which is still almost brand new out and put an old 3.08 open wheeler back in
Still, i think i'll sell it because if i have to store it for 12-24 months its gonna cost me heaps to get it running again anway
