Ey im conve rting my vl from n/a to turbo, its a standard rebuilt t3. Im having problems lining up my exhaust, itsa 3inch dump to cat(standard cat) My cat back is a 2.5inch redback exhaust. The flange wont fit no matter how much i twist the cat back to try line up the holes to bolt it. It seems to hit the bushs. This is the catback I used when my car was N/A. Can any one help me out with this?

Best thing to do is get a 3inch exhaust made 2.5 is a bit restrictive

have you tried putting the cat loosely onto the front pipe and then trying to connect the exhaust to the cat? you might just find it gives you a bit more movement and while i believe the pacemaker 3" are designed to bolt to a stock cat flange this will rule out (or rule in) whether or not the flanges match. another idea is taking one of the rubber mounts off of the centre soyou get a bit more movement in the exhaust.

Yeah ive tried unhooking the rubber mounts but it just wont reach, also tried loosening the bolts but no luck. Im thinking of cutting the flange off my cat back and re welding.
