Hey guys Just wondering if anyone has seen these around or where you can get em from in Aus (or anything similar): http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/26...hift_Lock.html (http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/263252889/Auto_Gear_Shift_Lock.html) My dad had one on the calais before it was stolen, and the only reason that happened was cause my dad had just worked a 24 hr shift and forgot to arm the car alarm, and slept through the scum chiselling through the u shaped shackle all night. Thief left the blunt chisel and hammer where the car should have been...If my dad wasnt out of it from lack of sleep, the prick would have had the hammer wrapped around his head. As far as i can remember, this thing is mounted to a steel/iron bracket which is welded (or bolted) to the cars floor plan/trans tunnel. It unlocks using the supplied security dimple key and slides in on top of unit when your driving. Slides into lock and blocks your shifter from moving anywhere else but park. Im sure you could also fabricate a different type of bracket to block movement on your b&m shifter if the shackle fits round it... Im after one or something similar. i think its a great visual deterrent and would buy alot of time to take the thief out before he takes your car out. Ive emailed the supplier on that site, but i think i wont get the answer im hoping for, if i get a reply, that is... Let me know boys Mark
