I will be attempting this soon, and I plan to make it work...LOL! From what I have read up on, the disks & calipers will bolt straight on. But where the trouble lies is with the VL handbrake. The VT disks have a bigger internal dia than VL (where the handbrake shoes/pads meet the disk). You can't get enough adjustment out of the VL handbrake. So from my research there are 4 options (there could be more). 1- Use the Harrop handbrake adapter kit, (very expensive, & increases wheel track!) 2- 'mr-spares' on eBay sell a much more affordable adapter kit, $215 delivered! Heres the link- http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ADAPTOR-RINGS...em 27b8072d1b (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ADAPTOR-RINGS-VB-VS-315-MM-ROTOR-UPGRADE-DBA-HSV-/170591202587?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27b8072d1b) 3- Retrofit VT handbrake assembly onto VL, (I know of people succsessfully doing this). 4- Or use a mechanical handbrake caliper like on PLTNUM, (gold VL from a while ago....LOL). AP racing & Wilwood make these. (would need to make your own adapter brackets though). I think these are the only real options, I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet..LOL. Will decide when I pull my rear end apart to convert to LSD and put my VT GTS brakes on!
