Hey guys i was just wondering if you could get the Cam journals honed. I just got my head back from the machine shop last week after getting a few things done, just the usual stuff valves, spings, port an polish, decked , cracktested etc. I was just getting ready to put the new Cam in the head last night wen i noticed slight scuff marks in all of the cam journals, There no chunks taken out of them just minor scuffing. I would've thought the machine shop would've seen these an cleaned them up. So what i want to know is can the machine shop hone this out with out affecting clearances or are the going to have to press in a bearing shell or something like that. Cheers guys ---------- Post added 08-12-10 at 21:40 ---------- Bump!
