Hey guys im selling my 355 motor.its done 7000k's,built by steve and joe at msc performance,288 solid cam,forged pistons,double row timing chain,heads cleaned up,440cc injectors,torque-power high rise single plane manifold,750 cfm 4 barell throttle body,10:5:1 comp,motor is in my stato and made 250 rwkw heaps of torque ***n flies,comes with ecu,loom etc.only bad point is it has a snapped crank.so im selling it for no less than 3,000. how did the crank break ?? what brand is it ? what are the other parts used in the bottom end ?

My mechanic lost the details of wat parts were used.all i know is wat ive listed mate.and mechanic said the crank snapped from detination,over tuned or sum ****. ---------- Post added 05-12-10 at 18:36 ---------- And the kit is most likely either scat or eagle.

nah mate sorry i asked for the same thing off my mechanic but he cant find em in his system,as the motor was already built before i brought it.over 10,000 was spent on the motor

yeah the eagle cranks for holden v8 strokers have been known to break -- first one Ive actually seen on a forum though. Good buy though, that engine sounds like its got some good gear in it.

did it break at the front near the balancer? i have heard of eagle cranks breaking there.

I will sell it with the gearbox for the right price,gearbox is rebuilt only 7000ks ago strenthened internals corvette servos stage 2 shift kit,shifts hard as.let me know.or will swap for cheap car or dirtbike.

would be an eagle crank, as morgz said they are prone to it. Alot of threads on SC forum from people who have snapped eagles.
