Found this on EBay Quote: It is a very rare occasion that you see a jet car for sale in Australia and now could be your chance to be an owner of one unique Jet Powered vehicle “Star Attraction”. This jet car is powered by a Westinghouse J34 jet engine with afterburner. Be aware this jet car is very, very loud and produces alot of thrust (power). I have only used the jet car for car shows, displays and static fire shows (has not been used as a drag car at this stage). When I purchased my jet car approx’ ten years ago, I was told that it was Australian built to NHRA standards USA. This car does stand out at any car show or event so it could be your time to be the “Star Attraction”at shows. You could use it for promotions as you do get asked to attend many events. All signage on jet car sticker based so you can change to your own prefered signage if required. The package comes complete with a purpose built dual axle tilt trailer and numerous other items in this package. The trailer is registered in Victoria. All up the jet car and trailer weight is approx. 1,800kg which means that you can tow behind a normal ute (I used a XG Ford ute to tow it with no issues, but not included in sale). I may consider a normal road car sw@@p if you have one??? List of Jet Car items as follows; Engine: Westinghouse J34/34 (approx. 10,000hp with afterburner) Twin fuel tanks (with low fuel warning lights) Chassis: Chrome Moly (4130) Body: Fiberglass/Alloy Wheels: Cragar (front/rear) Tyres: Mickey Thompson ET Drag (front) as new/Goodyear Eagle Racing (rear) as new Brakes: Twin brake pedals, Wilwood (front/rear) Length: 8.2mts Weight: approx. 1080kg External starter batteries (3) are mounted on a battery trolley for ease of moving. The Trailer Details Brakes: Electric (on all 4 wheels) with breakaway system for safety Dual Axle 4x Commodore Wheels and near new Bridgestone Tyres Suspension: Rubber torsion Alloy floor Tilts for ease of loading/unloading Winch Inbuilt ramps. Other Items included: 10x metal bollards and white chain for displays (keeps people off car) Jet Engine Oil (enough for years) Fuel Churns Mechanical Fuel Bowser Pump Numerous Other Items Below are some links to watch the jet car running with afterburner. You can have either just white smoke or large flames coming out the back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TMmtxjoWJs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC9t5lQFlMs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfCeZ...eature=related (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfCeZd-YEUM&feature=related) http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Jet-car-drag-...item255f693983 (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Jet-car-drag-race-show-unique-not-chev-jet-engine-/160514521475?pt=AU_Cars&hash=item255f693983)
