yep my mates got a fibreglass one off ebay(the more expensive of the ones on there) and when u give it a rev it sucks itself in a fair bit, also theres a fair bit of loose fibreglass on the inside that i wouldnt want anywhere near my engine..

I just had a GM alloy one for years. It worked I guess. Destroys the IAT's when stationary due to heatsoak but drive for 3 mins and it back down to ambient. The new breed of Dus and VCM are generations ahead though in terms of fit and finish. As for performance probably a couple of kW's.

Alloy OTR VCM style is 495.00. At idle air temps are high but a quick stab on the throttle brings them down real quick. I have done a lot of road logging and found that at cruise around 80km/h air temps are around 2 degrees above ambient. The VCM OTR is made by a guy called John, He originally designed them for another company many years ago.

I sold mine not the long ago because I am going turbo. If I bought another one I would HPC, Ceramic coat it. The VCM/ Yella Terra/ HPF/ G&D/ Johny's OTR is very well made. Another thing with the fibre glass ones is the crappy finish on the inside.

i like the the look of the ramjet otr specially in red, there suppose to be made from a good plastic and perform fairly well from wat ive read, vcm seem to br popular choice to and good price

Ramjets certainly work.. had one sitting on the dyno with the fan on while the car was idling watching the STFT LTFT head all over the place.
