hey guys cars got me ****ed good this time sometimes underload it will miss and drive like a bag of **** and throw thick black smoke everywhere now that generally means its running rich? i did buy a timing belt and initial thoughts were the timing is out alot of people said that and when i turn the ignition off the car still runs also my mates think its related to timing i have a belt ready to go on but do not know how to time the engine up and dont wanna attempt it on my own incase i **** it up and i instantly think it wasnt timing but its been happening on and off all week sometimes wont run properly all day forcing me to bring it home but yesterday had a massive drive to the city then around the city and then home once it got home then it played up thank god. now could this issue just be timing and if it has jumped/skipped teeth, is it possible to skip back teeth because the car sometimes runs perfect could this be an injecter or fuel pump issue but by the black smoke it must be over fuelling right? has anyone had this problem or issue as its driving me insane litterally..... i just wanna set the thing on fire. any help is appreciated cheers ---------- Post added 15-11-10 at 08:18 ---------- so noone has any ideas?

i had this problem to last time i went on cruise. but i also noticed that teh gear box was been weird to. could it br cas? it was only new before i bought it about 6 months ago

i pondered the cas idea have bought an afm but seeing how i go tomorrow

ye the afm meter was preplaced same time as my cas... hmmm any one got ideas?

took it for drive last night and didnt missfire or nothign but just was extremely **** take off. like worse then normal. i could have foot flat and felt like it was my nana driving haha. could timing have anythign to do with this

i think i have my car sused out i hope ill find out thiss weekend
