Anyone know much about the yellow MotorTech VL Calais? Seems to have recorded an 8.319@ 164 mph Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

its a vl and it has a wing it is sydney so its got atleast 700rwhw

like most wollongong vl's its awesome? the bloke that owns motortech owns the car. last i heard was an 8.5 so id say thats correct

dnt fink its a calais,, and it recently ran a 8.3, and its a rb30, auto, single cam, none of that twin cam rubbish

ok gents. I got a text from the guys at motortech last night. single cam powerglide edit - just checked fullboost and seems they are packing some more tyre these days 28x10.5 which might mean modified tubs and the rest to go with it cage, wing and parachute mount done by Adam @ Raceline Fabrications if anyone is interested engine/rw hp NFI....quite cagey on those details but all I can imagine is that it is a sh1tload I know Tony gets on here a bit so he might be able to fill in some details for us....Tony you out there???? I like it alot, looks sweet. I wreckon its tubbed for sure but then again it may not be as those tyres are pusing close to the guards
