i don't have pics of mine... but it was all rebuilt... got a piece of flat metal... and was bent up to suit, tacked on made sure it was all fine, then welded right along... grinded flat and done... rust holes were plated and welded up, then grinded flat

aw yea but i already got the panel from rarespares and just wanted to see if anyone else had used the same panel and where they cut the old one out cause it appears that the original bit is all one piece from under parcel shelf to the channel for the boot rubber with a right angle bit spot welded on that the window sits on where as the bit from rarespares is just from the boot rubber to the window but includes that right angle all as one piece.... so im not sure if to cut before or after the right angle, if i leave it it'll be the thickness of the steel higher but will be alot easier and stronger

newbie, first post. ive got the same question.i was thinking of cutting out up to the right angle bit and then just plug welding the rarespares panel on top but not sure if this will effect the window seal.I also thought i could cut the right angle bit off the rarespares panel and seam weld to the bottom of the factory right angle as this is rust free.sum pics of how you did yours would be cool.
