i have twisted both standard 28 spline axles and im now shopping for billet axles. does anyone know what kinda power billet 28s will handle? my vl is a manual and i run at the drags a fair bit with 9inch slicks, around 500hp, 31 spline would be better but then i gotta get a spool,

what will go first the pinion or the billet axles? i would guess if the axles are any good then you would be braking pinions as there the next weakest link.

No one will be able to give you a decent answer, they could last years, they could go on the first trashing...

28 billets should be fine for that power, if your planning on making more go the 31's for insurance i guess.
