Hey, Just bought a vs grange style boot lip. I had to buy the boot lid with it cos the guy couldn't get the lip off. It looks like there are screws and maybe some sort of glue used to fix it....not sure. Anyone know the best and safest way of getting the lip off the boot lid? Also, do the genuine grange lips have a stamp or something? Not sure whether it's a copy or not. Don't really care either way. Thanks fellas

Hi mate, I can tell you there is no "HSV" stamp or anything like that on the bootlip for a genuine one but as for getting it off, very carefully. I think as you have said there is a few screws and it's glued down.

Thanks mate. Anyone know how to deal with the glue? I couldn't get fishing line under the lip to pry the lip off. I don't care if the boot gets damaged, just want the lip in one piece
