hey guys, i got an old Alpine ERE G145 EQ and decided to hook it up instead if letting it just sit there, only prob is the rca connections on the rear dont make sense, there is a left and right front and rear input, but no out puts to goto the amp, and then another set of rca connections im guessing have something to do with the sub. ive looked up installation guides for this online but no luck, ive posted some pics so yous can have a look, any help would be great thanks

nah im scared i might do some damage, the bottom pic with the S, I, L, R has got me puzzled as to what it stands for, if they are the outputs then where is the sub input/ output? hmmmm
front left and right will be outputs aswell as the one marked s which should be for the sub as for the one marked i im not to sure about that one but yeah up to you if you want to try it or not
I think you may be right Hayden.
Have a look at the following pic (this is a pic of a different brand EQ), from what I gather, (I L+R) is for the input from your head deck, (S L+R) is subwoofer output, (F L+R) is front output, (R L+R) is rear output. the only difference i can see is that yours doesn't have an auxiliary input.
The bottom pic is one I found on google of your model, is that what yours looks like? If so, it does look like its an old model, probably from when we first started seeing RCA outputs on Head-units, in which case it there would have only been 1 pair. (1 Left, 1 Right), none of this Front+Rear+Sub that you see these days).
That would explain why there is only 1 Pair of Inputs on your equalizer.
So I would wire the Front RCA Outputs from your head-deck to the I's on the EQ.
Then the outputs on your EQ to each amp (Front/Rear/Sub).

its simple mate,
I= input, the line from your H/U
S,F,R sub front and rear they goto your amps..
its designed for old cd players with no sub channels ect
just get a pair of splitters so the front channel red and rear channel white go into the I red on the EQ and the front white and rear red goto the white I EQ.. you would get the full stereo surround, but thats the best way you'll get it..
