Hey guys me and a few mates are all getting our rb30ets refreshed, and have been given this quote which seems mroe then reasonable considering i know people who have spent alot more to prob get the same result.
Anyway is as follows;
""
clean block and parts for asembly, machine head surface, hone cyl, bearings, rings, seals, oil filter, thermostat, 500ml oil and asemble engine with new T-belt i can do $1450. (i prime all the oil galeries not just the pump thats why there is 500ml)
i also prefere using using nissan rings over any other brand, i'll need to ring them and see whats available and double check the price. oh and of course a nissan head gasket.
for $2000 i will check tolerance's, valve seats, replace valve stem seals, and put in a new water pump.
this is with the asumption it won't need line boring ($500) or replacement pistons ($100 each for Nissan) or valve seat replacement or any other work done.
""
Yay or nay?

Head cleaned, surfaced, valves lapped & camshaft installed. cost me about 2g.
thats a good deal
mine was about 750 for block machine work
plus parts
plus 1200 for head rebuild and welded down centre, cams etc
