hey guys iv finally saved inaff cash to buy a nice base to start working on iv always loved the shape of the vy ss ute when there low in the ass with 19s ect (black) but then again the xr6 turbos are ment to be weapons from what iv been told from people at my work ect witch is the better choice . (sorry if this has been ask 1000 times just wanted to ask other people for info , iv also been told the xr6t is abit of a let down as the gearbox's are crap after the 280-300rwk mark iv got basicly $20,000 to play with.(+ more from each pay ect
ba xr6t. thats what i'd do hands down. just a mint car to drive. its hard to compare the 5.7l to the 4.0t as they are very different so it depends what you want but i'd go xr6t for sure.
There was a thread on this not long ago, it basically comes down to personal preference as there seems to be pros and cons with both cars
Heres the thread http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showth...hlight=VY+XR6T (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=163116&highlight=VY+XR6T)
I personally like the holden interiors better, and the LS1 isnt a bad engine.. but its got nothing on the ford 4ltr when modified. If it was a VZ 6ltr Id go that.. but Id go the 4ltr Turbo over the older 5.7ltr.
