Ok so I've come to the point where I can't make a decision and I'm looking at a r33 manual box with a Jim berry clutch or a built auto? Thing is I'm a fussy prick and if I do go either I'll want it to be freshly rebuilt. So.... I'm looking at either 1500 for 33 box + rebuild 1000? & about 1200 for a Jim berry clutch or say up to 5g for a built auto, convertor and pro ratchet? Thing Is I don't know Much about autos? And if you reccommend auto what would you choose? Keas 3 or 4 speed or glide? If I go auto I want full manulised, transbraked, etc. Car is going to be for street use occasional strip runs. Has all the goods, t3 highflow, cooler, 3" zorst, aftermarket computer, fuel system, should be good for 250 rwkw? Opinions?

if its more getting used for the street and only pushing 250rwkw id be going the manual for sure, if not a 4spd auto, i wouldnt bother going as far as putting a glide in when your only pushing 250rwkw, and 4spd auto's can still handle that sort of power with ease if built properly, id personally keep the overdrive if its more street use rather than going the 3 speed... thats my personal opinion tho it all depends what you feel more comfortable driving...ive had both manuals and auto's, autos are a hell of a lot more user friendly on the street compared to manuals from my experience once you start talking decent HD and button clutches, and minispooled diff's manuals just turn into pigs for daily use and struggle to get any traction when giving them hell, but i love that so id go the manual anyday lol

This is my problem I like manual also but. The only thing I would have to do to make 350 rwkw is change my turbo and put forgies in. Both appeal to me manual is awsome but the appeal of smashing a fully manulised auto through a pro ratchet shifter is hanging over my head lol. I don't know????

go manual. my car use to make 360hp with a manual, i had so much fun, driving at 70k dumping it back a gear it would lay tracks. anything more than 400hp id go for built auto. ( thats what ill be doing in the future)

you've stated your preference despite everyone saying manual, you still want auto so no real point in this thread
