Looking at buying a pair for myself for a maximum online price of $120. Anyone have any experience with any? There's just so much to choose from and I'm confused. Had a look at techniks, pioneer, numark, Sony and sennhieser... I just can't decide, any one with a good tip? Or got any for sale?

Dude, if you have any plans to play anywhere outside of your bedroom or house parties....don't skimp out on the phones! I personally use HD-25 II's (~$280ish) and love them, along with plenty of others. I've used Pioneer HDJ1000's (~$220) before but wasn't too keen, bit of a flimsy feel about them and rather prone to breakage. Save a little extra coin and get something that provides quality sound and will last (unless of course you just want them for a bit of mucking around in your room). The Monster Beats as mentioned above are massively overpriced (as is all of Monster Cable's gear) for what they are. They don't sound too bad but are fairly bassy, better for listening imo. At the end of the day, as I said....it all depends what you're going to use them for. You're not going to pick up anything quality for $120, even online. Go down to storedj or djwarehouse and have a listen through some of the setups in store and you'll soon be able to determine what you're after. : )

As it says above, if you want good quality you need to spend the money. Ive been using technics headphones for years now and cant fault them at all. There comfortable (which is all to often overlooked), strong and the sound quality is awsome. Im pretty sure they cost me $280 but that was like 5 years ago and there still working fine now.

Technics dj1200/1210 but a bit more than you wanted to spend. For under $120 go for Sennheisers. HD 202/205 maybe.
