hi fellas my VS commodore started spluttering the other day it did it once or twice then i turned the car off an started it up again and it was all fine for about 1hour or so. So i kept driving it for abit then it started doing it alote, so turned the car off were i was and left it there for 3 days, then i went an got it on tuesday and it started up an ran fine. i gave abit to , so i could see if it was gonna do it but it didnt its got me stuffed has anyone had any problems similar to this? or no what it could be? because im really lost Cheers fellas

possibly coil pack issue, maybe some moisture causing a short or it may just be on the way out

cheers mate, do you think it could be dirty fuel? or fuel filter blocking up?

ey mate i had this exact problem with mine sometimes it would be fine then wen ud drive it a bit it would splater ud get no power sometimes real bad sometimes nothing but it ended up behing the coils so change them over and c how u go gl

yeh thats exactly what its doing. when i get the car back ill replace the coils and see how i go. thanks for your help

dfi module or one of the coil packs.. pull the coil packs off and look for arching
