hey just needing a bit of guidance on how hard this conversion is and what needs 2 be modified or changed to properly fit the 5 litre. also a list of what can be bolted onto the motor as well as internals that can be done: at the moment i have a 1987 VL Calais and i have just recently bought a VP BT1 which the body is shocking but the running gear is fine the motor is running fine i am just needing a little bit of advice before i go foreward with this project thanx

are you starting with a 6 or V8 Calais? If it's V8, the EFI motor goes straight in. You need to move some stuff like the p/s lines and a few other bits and pieces, but the motor it'self drops in. As for engine parts, how big's your wallet? There is practically no limit on the stuff you can buy for the Holden V8.
