A few questions I was wondering if someone can help me with.. Are the factory efi 5.0l manifolds able to be flipped and still bolt up without modification? What is the power limit of the standard injectors? Will the factory ECU run the engine nicely with a small amount of boost? (no more than 8psi) Any ideas what sort of power the engine will make, its a standard VL 308 black engine with the EFI heads/cam/intake, will be running 2 x factory r32 gtr turbos (t28 i think?) on 8 psi. Thanks for reading my thread!

A few questions I was wondering if someone can help me with.. Are the factory efi 5.0l manifolds able to be flipped and still bolt up without modification? Yes What is the power limit of the standard injectors? Don't bother (seriously!) Will the factory ECU run the engine nicely with a small amount of boost? (no more than 8psi) Nicely? NO, can you get it to work by pulling timing and keeping boost low, yes. Any ideas what sort of power the engine will make, its a standard VL 308 black engine with the EFI heads/cam/intake, will be running 2 x factory r32 gtr turbos (t28 i think?) on 8 psi. Power will be limited by those tiny injectors, probably looking at about 180-190rwkw, change squirters and get a tune and it will be more like 250-270 as it will be happy to run 10psi once tunned

Can you recommend a good set of injectors I should be on the look out for? (This is a budget build, so nothing too flash) I take it the factory ECU can be tuned ?

Yep the supercharged 6 inj or any BA/BF 6 cylinder injectors will be fine for what you want. Yes the factory ecu can be tunned.

You may be able to pick up a set of SuperSix 36lb'ers or 42lb'ers second hand pretty cheap. Say $350-400 The factory ECU can be tuned, but it requires a eprom to be burnt etc etc Look for guys who tune Delcos. Just remember its not just a case of sticking turbos on.. map sensors, injectors, better auto/clutch, exhaust, oil feeds, water feeds etc etc etc. Its not super straight forward but make sure you get the basics right and it will make 250rwkw day in day out.
