Hey, my vl wouldn't start the other day, Had the RAA give it a look, and they said it looked to be the distributor cap, so i replaced that and the rotor inside, the car started up and i drove it round the block. But now it wont start again. Any suggestions?

Hey mate, I have exactley the same problem, have you got fuel pressure? Mine does, but wont spark at the plugs. Replaced the coil and there's spark going to the distibutor but not from it, getting the multi meter out tommorow arvo to have a play and will let you know as this doesnt seem to be that uncommon. Pull your dizzy apart and check your crank angle sensor and you'll see a small silver disc with "windows" in it, as far as i understand the crank angle sensor reads the light as the disc rotates. If thats shagged that may be an issue? Also look into your ignition module? Will let you know on this thread anyway and see i can give you any help if im succesful.
