wet boot

as wierd as this sounds ov a morning at bout 7:30 when i go 2 work i opened my boot and evrey thing is wet is there ne thing i can do about this as i dont wannd put $1500 worth of sound systum in the boot and it all *** up coz im getin water in my boot HELP!!!!!!!!!

Look around your boot seal and see if water is getting in, it must be full of rust, if thats the case forget your 1500 sound system and get it properly fixed by a quality panel beater that should weld on a new piece of metal. Then install your doof doof

Awww sweet, yeah get him to look at it, you have to pull the seal of and all and stick your head under the boot seal. If you want a dodgy fix just build it up with silicone lol. Or a rubber Tar.

I had a similar problem with water getting into my boot. Found out it was the tail lights. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I have the same problem, pull the rubbers off that run around the top edge of your boot and check for rust, underneath the rubbers mine are rusted to the s**thouse, I needa cut it out weld new pieces in. Temp fix = duct tape

under my boot seal there is a **** load of rust (N) anyone know prices on avg to get fixed?

ahh yeah sweet i saw the website looks like some great work coming from there, umm yeah well my vl is at the mechanics atm stuffed timming belt and possible bend valves so when i get it back ill PM you and ill swing by Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Just thought of a idea. What about if you line your boot with paper. Paper the back, sides & floor to see where the water is coming in. Where ever the paper is wet that's where the water is coming in. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

my boot leaked a little bit through the seal(tiny bit of rust), so i just siliconed it up until i can fix it properly.. and my tailights leaked aswell but i replaced those and now no more leaks Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
