Gday guys, been a member here for a while now thought id share with you my VLT I had a vlt wagon with stock t3, 10psi, fmic for a few months then i was after more power, after having a good think i decided that it would cost too much building it up to a 35/40 combo 10sec street car so i looked for a while only to stumble across a vlt that been looked after with a fresh rebuild with a nice turbo combo. Since owning it i have had the fuel system upgaded with a 3lt surge tank, twin bosch 044 with internal tank Ive added a jd custom plenum and piping kit, used to have a gk-tech fmic and a n/a plenum and re-tune Make / Model: SL VLT Colour: White with mx grey bars, 4 year old spray Engine Type: RB30et rebuilt Engine Mods: Engine: Forged pistons Shotpeened rods Custom grind cam Custom port and polished head Hotside: 35/40 Tial 44mm wastegate with screamer Modified vlt manifold Coldside:JD customs plenum and cooler kit Fuel setup:Intank pump Surge tank Twin 044s Custom fuel rail 800cc injectors Other:Microtech LTs10 Power: 305rwkw safe tune on pulp Exhaust: 3inch, 1 muffler Gearbox: 3spd trimatic with transbrake, 3500 stall, 1 peice tailshaft Diff: 3.45 minispool 28 spline axels Brakes: vt brake upgrade Suspension: Stock, rear sway bar, panhard rod ect Wheels/Tyres: Micky thompson et's rear, 205 goodyears fronts Interior: HSV VX fronts and rears, hidden autometer gauges Stereo: Alpine deck, ipod control, 6X9 rear Future mods: Bolt in half cage MSD ignition box new tune with more boost Get rid of the vl steering wheel!!!!!!!!!! if ur gonna keep the standard height they will look too small, it would look sick slapped on fr18s, take a look at RJB-223's white s/l, thing is slapped on fr18s and looks great

Hey dude.. car looks great! Who made the surge tank?? i like it alot!! also regarding your half cage i was told by a mechanic/engineer that with a half cage bolt in, he would have engineered it & rwc'd my car if i had put a plate on the inside of the boot, on the bottom of the parcel shelf, therefore the parcel shelf being kind of sandwhiched in... and et mickey t's i think people run them around 18psi on the street... or there abouts.. not 100% though so don't quote me on that. ---------- Post added 18-09-10 at 13:02 ---------- also i may have missed it.. what boost did you make the power on? and what cam?

good stuff man! i was gonna go to Gtech with my red vlt (cslfly) as i had a decent setup ready to go in to make around 350rwkw auto.. give this number a call and have a chat to him to see what you will need to do about engineering your cage, as he is able to give you the engineers..
