Hi guys I'm looking for the original owner of the plates "OLO-747" they where white writing with red back ground and had a slimline front plate. My mate originally bought his red over silver VL Calais turbo converted manual with the plates on the car around 6yrs ago. Since then the calais has been written off and he gave me his plates with a receipt saying I purchased them. Now when I went to register the plates in my name for my vlt the lady was telling me my mates not the owner of the plates and cant use them unless I have a reciept from the original owner and that she couldn't give me any details of who does own them He bought the car from the gold coast area but doesn't remember the guys name or remember where his receipt for the car is.... so Im kinda stuck. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

^^ Yeah there matt's old plates of his Calais that he smashed and left at mine. He had them on the car when he bought it but when I try to register them to my car with a receipt from him there saying he's not the original owner lol. He found his receipt the other day with the last owners name apparently so going to try again tomorrow and yeh matty fake one up. Let you know how I go. ---------- Post added 24-08-10 at 16:33 ---------- Well talked to a bloke called Luke at OLD transport on the phone and for once they where very helpful. Apparently the original plate owner was to slack to transfer the plates in the first place when he sold them with the car. All they could tell me is that its not matt and its not the guy matt bought the car off. So being almost 10yrs ago he gave Tewantin transport department a call to see if they would put it through because of the circumstances, but of course the old bats in there rejected it saying I'll still need the original owners signature and name and off course a $75 fee, but they wont say who owns them or where to start looking. Guess its RIP OLO-747
