I heard a lil rumor that calder has been granted state funding to upgrade the venue and that the new proposed track is a no go. i heard it from a bloke at work who races in top bike in the andra pro series. can anyone confirm this?????

There's always rumours floating around like this. Last year there was a rumour he was given millions to upgrade it all but nothing ever came of a redevelopment and the rumours were denied...

i thought there was already money granted to calder when they had the big closure and they brought the walls in and resurfaced the track new timeboards and the new seating. hopefully the rumours are false and victoria gets a second track.
