Hi all, just thought i'd introduce me and my ride. My name is Danial and i've always ben a V8 man but after getting smashed by a few turbo VL's i thought i'd change my allegance to a turbo 6. I purchased my VLCT about 6 months ago. It had a full standard tubo kit on it, with a cooler kit and a 3" exhaust. After registering it, i tried to get it to go ok but coudn't get anything out of it. So back in the shed it went for a full motor change. So far i have a forged bottom end, worked head, wade 1147 cam, high rise turbo manifold and a bigger turbo, of course! That sounded easy back then but i think i am only about two months off starting it. Got a Halteck E6X so that will be fun as well. All problems aside they're a damn good car to work on. So let me know what you think. Will put more recent photos up when camera is working. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

alright finally pulled the klapped out motor out the car and dropped the new one in got the high rise and turbo on. Got the patch loom for my haltech and inter cooler last week so on they go aswell pick up Nolathane under car kit tommorrow that aint going to be fun but the twenty year old s*#t a bit stuffed so better replace it. Intercooler lookes good sitting in the front cant wait to do cooler piping going to make it out of stainless just need forward facing plenum. So theirs a few picks let us know what u think and ill be posting more as the progress goes on. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

its looking great so far. can't say i like the blue timeing cover though, but all to there own, as long as you like it. always love a white over silver calais

ok so i lowered the vl and put the 19 inch sigs on it and the wheels are hitting the little screws that hold rear bar on????? wheels wont turn the diff seems to long but bont know the diff code is 92028724 any help would be great.

done anymore to it man or still being a slack c**t haha

no man still got the problems with the back rims but i think ill put the old calais rims on and just roll like that till i figure it out.

by the sounds of it u mite have a vn diff in it, there 1 inch longer each side, cant help with the diff code tho

I just did a quick search on here for that diff code, it seems to be a 25-spline disc brake non lsd. (so same as a non-turbo calais). so it is a VL diff
