hi guys i thought i would introduce myself, names Brendon i have mostly played with fords sorry but had a couple of holdens in my time. at present i have an ef falcon turbo as a toy but recently taken posesion of a vl as a work car its not the best but me and a mate decided we would chuck a std turbo set up and fmic on it with a 3" axhaust goes pretty well so i have decided to do a bit to it once the ford is done the work hack the toy i plan on going high mount turbo calias front and back and morphius purple on the vl with a nice set of rims to top it off, and definatley need an lsd diff because one tyre is just going to suffer. anyway hope you like what you see, like i said the vl is work hack at the moment and we pulled it out of my mates paddock and slapped the turbo on so it will need a fair bit of work but judging on some of the cars ive seen on here it will be well worth it, any ideas and comments are welcome. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

well i took the vl in for a road worthy on friday, and to my surprise all i had to fix were minor things threw another headlight in passanger side new relay for heater fan and two hoses needed to be replaced, before taking it in i replaced a windscreen and steering rack boots, so monday it will be back to get the rwc filled in then rego'd. So basiclly a vehicle that was pulled from paddock and has only cost just under $500 bucks is turbo'd and ready to go on the road, so im pretty happy about that. ---------- Post added 29-08-10 at 13:20 ---------- couple more quick pics couple of dents in nose cone but like i have said plan on going calais front so not worried about them. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

well the old girl is now registered took it in today. now i can start looking at throwing some money into it to get it going and looking a bit better, loosing the airbox for a pod and dose pipe tonight as lets face it it's all about the dose. start looking for decent calais front and some side moulds and need some rims still not sure what wheels i will be getting might have to have a look around

took the berlina in got a new 3" exhaust put on it got the timing and fuel sorted out and replaced about 8 f**ked sensors and had it tuned up on the dyno, so it now runs like a dream, the place that did it think i need a new waste gate actuator as i can only get 4 psi out of it, it has a trans cooler and big towbar on it and the tuners think it prob has a tow cam in it because it is stock, with a rising rate reg and n/a injectors but hit 165.1rwkw on just 4psi of boost, i thought that was pretty good for an n/a motor with std ecu and injectors with just a turbo and cooler slapped on it

never heard of a tow cam... anyway get some new rims\1 otherwise great start. it looks pretty complete and tidy except for that nosecone but keep an eye out on here / ebay / wreckers yards and you will find a cone in the right colour to bolt on no worries.

nah man but sps checked it after i took it back with a few troubles they think the actuator will be fine for 10psi with new spring, they are putting a set of 36lb injectors my 044 and boost tee in then re running on dyno at 10psi should be done for start of next month he reakons i should see between 190-210rwkw on that boost with out to much trouble, i hope it hits 200+

we will have to put the lsd in sometime in the next couple of weeks then test it out, want that done before i start pumping more boost and fuel into it or the one tyre will just be ****ed, although when its lsd we will prob just **** a set of tryes going for a test drive anyway lol
